Third annual Canadian Automotive Jury’s Best of the Best Finalists announced
By John LeBlanc Reflecting the wide variety Canadian new car buyers are faced with, the third annual Canadian Automotive Jury’s Best of the Best Finalists range from entry-level compacts to luxury-sport sedans. The Jury’s annual Best of the Best Awards are unique in Canada. The not-for-profit organization is independently-funded by its Jurors—10 senior journalists, including yours truly—who account for the vast majority of automotive industry coverage in Canada. Also noteworthy, the Jury’s Best of the Best Finalists don’t exclusively focus on a specific model within a family of vehicles or only “all-new” models, and include the reigning 2011 Canadian Automotive Jury Best of the Best Winner, the Ford Fiesta, which is automatically included as a finalist. Five European models, three domestic, two Korean, and two Japanese models make up the dozen 2012 Best of the Best Finalists, from which the 2012 Best of the Best Winner will be announced in November. The 2012 CAJ Best of the Best Finalists: Audi A7, BMW 1 Series, Chevrolet Cruze and Volt, Ford Fiesta (2011 Winner), Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra, Infiniti M, Kia Optima, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Mini Countryman, Range Rover Evoque09.27.11 | 2012, Audi, awards, BMW, Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Kia, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Mini | Comments Off on Third annual Canadian Automotive Jury’s Best of the Best Finalists announced
