2014 New York: 2015 Dodge Charger
Story and photos by John LeBlanc As part of the Fiat-Chrysler brand’s centennial celebrations for 2015, Dodge is rolling out its redesigned 2015 Charger fullsize sedan, with updated exterior styling, an upgraded interior and some powertrain tweaks. While Dodge says almost all of the 2015 Charger’s body panels have been altered, the most obvious changes to the five-passenger sedan’s exterior looks are at the front-end of the car. Much like the compact Dodge Dart sedan, the larger Charger’s grille and headlights have been combined into one graphic element, highlighted by new projector headlights. Out back, the biggest change is the adoption of Dodge’s so-called “racetrack” taillamps. Inside the rear- or all-wheel-drive 2015 Charger you’ll find a new, seven-inch customisable centre display, three-spoke steering wheel and more use of premium materials through out. While under its new hood, “The World’s Only Four-Door Muscle Car” (according to its maker) sees a new eight-speed automatic transmission become available on the base 3.6-litre six-cylinder gas engine and the Charger R/T’s 5.7L eight-cylinder mill. Pricing for the redesigned 2015 Dodge Charger sedan will be announced closer to its on-sale date later this year.04.21.14 | 2015, Auto Shows, Dodge, New York, News | Comments Off on 2014 New York: 2015 Dodge Charger
